in custody. the east coast continues to dig out from under debris of superstorm sandy. we asked if you're ready for a disaster here at home. some items you may want to put in your preparedness kit, some you may not have thought of. this is "today in the bay." >>> good sunday morning. looking live at downtown san jose. christmas in the park getting very close to being ready for you and your family. thank you so much for joining us on this sunday morning. i'm kris sanchez. another stormy night across the bay area. we're keeping a close eye on that fragile hillside in daly city. crews were making sure that storm drains didn't back up with mud or any other kind of debris. and bales of hay line the area. on tuesday you may recall the road was a river of mud after water main broke sending tens of thousands of gallons of water into the neighborhood. a dozen cars were buried up to their hubs in mud. let's check in with meteorologist rob mayeda. residents in that neighborhood are feeling very wary. i think it's safe to say the danger has passed, do you think? >> last night we had a significant
